V3FM is a community focused radio station. We offer one hour or two hour slots to people that would like to run their own radio shows, or learn how to run their own radio shows.

Your show can be about just about anything - Cooking, gardening, travel, history, culture, music ... the possibilities are endless.

Wayne will teach you how to write and present your own show on radio. He will help you and guide you every step of the way, to be confident and most of all, to have fun!

 

Is there a cost to run my own radio show?

Yes, but we try and keep the cost down as much as possible. We charge a small amount to help cover our costs as we do not receive any funding whatsoever.

 

Is it hard to learn how to run my own show?

Yes and no. Some people aren't technically minded, so using a mixing desk may be a bit daunting to some people. But not to worry - Wayne will help you and take care of the hard stuff for you.

 

How do I know if I am able to run a show?

If you can talk, you can run a show. It's as easy as sitting down and talking to someone that's right in front of you. A bit like chatting to a friend over coffee!
